It doesn't feel like it, but Spring is finally here. I'm starting off this month with a track that has kept me warm all winter. This is one of the most heartwarmingly memorable tunes I have found to date. Ted Jasper, a London producer and DJ, has created a splendid arrangement with Get It Together. It immediately latched onto my ears with it's mix of trumpet and guitar introduction. The first drop/break caught me by surprise too with its divine double bass and piano assembly. This is a track that goes from strength to strength, allowing all the instruments to play their part perfectly.

Next up we have an incredible track from Warsaw based producer Pejzaż (Bartosz Kruczyński). The track Wisła has such a brilliant array of sounds, from it's almost hip-hop beat, to its delicate flurry of flute. The piano would have to be one of my favourite instruments, and when it's mixed into such a mash-up of musical genres so effectively, it has me hook, line and sinker. Understanding Polish is beyond my knowledge base, but there is something so comforting about her voice. They describe the music they produce on their Facebook about page as 'Songs mostly about love'. Love it.

The third track goes contemplative with French musician, Early Motions. His track name Slow Jam describes the tune perfectly. For me, this track is begging to be listened to on a rainy day, staring out a window overlooking a cityscape, contemplating. I can see so many grey hues through this track. It feels fragile to me with every sound meticulously placed to create a sense of drifting.

I have always loved Fishing (the band, not the sport) ever since I saw them play live at Secret Garden Festival with my cousin. It's just one of those forever memories that'll I have. The energy that they brought to the stage was impressive, just like the fourth track in this playlist, Pleasure Dome. This track has summer adventures written all over it. Feeling the warm breeze on your face while cruising up the coast. The track has a nostalgic 90s bass line sound in the mix amongst some whimsical guitar riffs. Another catchy tune by Fishing (pun intended).

Lastly, we have a more up tempo track by Buddy Love. I wasn't able to find much about this musician unfortunately. Released on the record label Coastal Haze, this track has the lot - sax, soothing synths, distant vocal, deep groove bass-line and an intricate array of fill sounds. Whether you're cooking a mean baked dinner or watering the plants, this track is for all occasions.

Until next month, stay sharp.
