Proof's in the print

The proofs for my photographic book are back from DigitalPress and they are looking fantastic. I can’t believe how far digital printing has come in such a short period of time. I was a little concerned about how the images would reproduce a larger sizes, but they have turned out brilliantly.

The Strathmore Wove Soft White uncoated paper I selected, gives the images a nostalgic warmth and transports you back in time. The texture of the uncoated paper gives the book a quality feel while turning every page.

I have a few minor tweaks to some of the images that are a little darker than desired, some grid alignment of images and then back to DigitalPress for the real thing. The cloth book cover and case binding is really going to bring this book to the next level.
