The Wheelers

This limited edition book is a collection of over 300 images my grandfather took between 1958 and 1978, all preserved on 35mm slides.

After viewing these images on my Nan’s old projector, I was absolutely speechless at how beautiful, quirky, charming, funny, emotional and well composed these shots were. I couldn't shake this feeling that needed to do something with the shots, in memory of my grandfather; to give these shots a permanent place in the family; to help celebrate such a fascinating time in history; to give Nan, my mum and my aunty an object that marks a wonderful and joyous time in their lives.

This was not only a throughly rewarding project, it was also a great educational piece to show my family what I do for a living. All design, writing, photography and art direction was done by me.
